Many people engage in various paid to click websites and they think that hat can earn money. However, the fact of the matter remains that certain paid to click websites never earn you a huge amount of money. So, are paid to click websites a waste of time?

Paid to click sites is a waste of time. I tried one years back and after grinding for weeks, the payout was almost nothing. With data cost rising, it doesn't make sense at all. You’ll spend hours clicking ads for peanuts.

Well, it could work if you invest in these kind of sites and upgrade your membership. However, investing in these kind of sites is really risky. No one knows how these websites generate revenue.

They are certainly a waste of time because even when you use half a dozen ptc sites, you can hardly make $10 in a month when you spend hours clicking ads.

Well, I know if certain PTC websites that require you to invest money. However, it will be really risky to invest in such kind of websites because majority of them are based on pyramid schemes. They pay and then they suddenly become a scam.

PTC websites are basically not scam, when take advertising orders, pay little bit to users and keep remaining as their profits. However, "scams" are common all legit businesses. Upgrading account on PTC is certainly risky.

Almost 90 percent of PTC sites are a scam. I remember encountering such kind of websites during the 2006 to 2009 era. At that time, I was a teenager looking for ways to make extra money. Even at that time, majority of the PTC sites never paid their users and they were basically running a pyramid scheme.

I wouldn’t recommend spending time on PTC sites, they typically pay very little, and it can take a long time to reach the minimum payout.

Well, the fact of the matter remains that many such kind of websites turn into a scam after sometime. There is no way a pyramid scheme could survive for such a long time. There will come a time when such sites fail to find new investors and then they close their doors forever.

Always check reviews before using any site that promises to pay its members. While some platforms are legitimate and do pay out, many are scams. Generally, PTC sites with lower payouts tend to be more reliable, as they generate enough revenue from advertisers to actually compensate their users.
