Are physical copies of games going extinct?

I believe video games will become completely digital within the next few years. I could see Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo eventually going fully digital.

Well, they’re not extinct, but they’re clearly declining fast. That's because digital downloads are more convenient

Physical games are fading truly but I don't also fully trust the digital form too. This is exactly why I stopped buying only online copies. One day, the server could affect your game or you could have an account issue which can make you lose everything.
