Having a debt hanging on your neck is something which can make someone to be restless at all times. This is why I don't like borrowing money from anyone or even financial institutions because I can't bear being in debt because I couldn't pay off what I borrowed for one reason or another.

Do you have any debt which you haven't paid off? How are you planning on paying it?

Unfortunately, I do have some debt over my head that was not created by me but was created by my ex-partner, with whom I was in a mentally abusive relationship up until 2015. I have been out of that relationship now for 9 years and I am still finding new debts that were taken out in my name without my consent. Many have already been written off and I am working on getting the others written off too.

Not currently, but I was in one last year. It was pretty scary because the creditors hardly allowed me breathing space. They make calls and send text messages at every opportunity. Thankfully I am free from it now. It is a feeling I never want to experience again.

I'm currently in debt but it's leveraged with a gain behind it, so if you look at it that way, I owe the bank about $10,000, but I am owed $17,500.

The interest I pay on the loan is less than I get from my investment when you factor in both dividend and dividend reinvestment growth.

I’m debt free now. I could remember how hard it was when I was in a serious debt about 3 years ago. I used the money for business but it failed. I lost everything. It was the worst moment of my life.

The only person that I am owing right now is my plumber that came to unblock my toilet yesterday. I had already told him I would be paying him after three days. His fee is $15 and I should pay him on Wednesday. Apart from that, I am not owing any man.

Am on debts presently. When i called the debts, it is around $32. I will definitely clear it off before the end of this month. May God help because i have a lot of pressing needs that need financial bailout.

One thing about debts with me is that it takes a toll on me mentally. I really won't be able to have have peace as long as I am indebted to someone. That's why I always avoid debts as much as I can.

I'm in debt with a few credit cards and loans, but I'm not entirely worried about those credit cards nor loans. I'll pay them off one day. They're a few years old.

I am in some debts that just amounts to $55. I am working to pay them off within a month. It is professional fees that I owe to a certain musician for appearance fees.

I've never applied for a loan anywhere. I'm not sure if I could ever do it. Unless there's a guaranteed business to invest the money in and make profits without any hiccups, that's only when I might consider getting a loan.

For the first time in my life I have no debt and it's nice seeing my credit score slowly creep up. I do have a bankruptcy on my credit history which doesn't help but that's from a few years ago.

No, I don't owe anyone money. I don't like to borrow cash unless I can pay it back quickly.

Owing someone money feels like a torture all the time especially if I keep seeing the person often. It's why I don't take money from my friends. I rather work extra hours to make up for what I need.
