From how I have seen England play since Tuchel took over as the new manager, I don't think they are in any good shape to have a good run in the upcoming World Cup tournament. They play too defensive which is horrible to watch. I'm not sure if they will make it past round 32.

I don't know how England is like these days, haven't watched them play for a long time. I liked them during the time of David Beckham, Frank Lampard , and Steven Gerrard

People write England off every tournament and somehow they still find a way to hang around till the business end. My issue is not even the defensive football, it's that they sometimes play like a team that is afraid of their own talent. You look at the names on paper and expect fireworks, but that is not what you get.

As someone who lives in England and will be supporting England as well in the World Cup, I do have high hopes for them.

In the last World Cup, we did well and even in the EURO 2024, we managed to make it far and did really well, and with a new manager who has a lot of wins under his belt, I feel that as long as the players play at their best, like we know they can, we can do well again in 2026

Tuchel only called up Noni Madueke from all those players who are attackers in the EPL to play for England in the World Cup. I don't see England making it past round 32.

After watching the match between England and Ghana that ended in a goalless draw, I am less convinced that England would be able to reach even the quarter finals. Their coach is using sentiments for team selection.
