Do you think obnoxious players should be banned if multiple people file complaints?

Although there is a mute function, do you think this absolves an obnoxious player from responsible content in there chat on line?

Yes. However, I think those players should be chat banned from online poker sites. Permanently, or the ban expires with a warning system intact. If they've been banned from chat multiple times, lifetime chat ban.

Those players are never welcome on PCF. If anyone acts that way on our forums, they'll be banned without hesitation. I have lifted bans with players/members in the past for posting negative things, after we had a chat.

If multiple people are complaining, there's probably something real going on. Maybe start with warnings or cooling-off periods before banning. But if someone's creating a toxic environment and won't change after feedback, removing them makes sense.

I'll always side with the community, if a group of members warn me about another user being toxic.

. It was before my time, though I am just seeing it for some reason and it said new so here I am.
I think the issue with these players that are obnoxious is the fact that it starts rumors that like fake news spread.
The problem with offsite fake news it goes unseen only members that are affiliated with the obnoxious player in someway would see it so I would think blocking me obnoxious player on site is only going to take care of half the issue, the rest lies beyond control.

You cannot let unethical players continue to use your site at the cost of majority of players. One bad apple can destroy the entire sack. I would rather ban them then continue to let them use my site.

Yes, sometimes bans are necessary. Online games become toxic quickly when nobody enforces rules. I once played a tournament match where one guy kept spamming insults in chat like his life depended on it. Eventually the moderator muted him and peace returned. Games are supposed to be competitive but respectful.

First of all it should be judged. Sometimes complains are unfounded. However, if the complains have proper reason those players should be definitely banned.
