Keeping track of your wins, losses, stakes is one of the steps you can use to access your performance. Tracking your results will help you to identify leaks in your game. Analyzing your performance will help you to know whether you are making progress or not!
Do you keep track of your results?

I keep track of my buy-ins, but I don't keep record of all the games I played. I take it day by day depending how motivated I am to play that day. I usually look at the schedule before I come up with a game plan.

If you play on StockPoker, you can use the "My Games" tab to view all the previous buy-ins, tournaments, and cash games you've played. It's a cool feature.

I agreed with tracking progress because that is what I do too. Tracking your progress can be so helpful in identifying areas for improvement and if things goes well with your playstyle, you’ll definitely be motivated.

I can't leave a poker game that I just ended without logging every details of the session. I log the timelines of the game, how much I staked, the result, be it win or loss. I have improved my poker game because of this detailed tracking of my poker games.
