I'm curious how you find that balance between being aggressive and playing tight in cash games.

Like do you start out patient and observing then ramp up aggression once you read the table? And how do you know when you're being aggressive enough versus just spewing chips?

I adapt to the action around me. Patience is still important in cash games, and picking your spots. You need to be able to handle the swings, if you have an aggressive style.

I balance aggression with patience by playing fewer hands, attacking in position, and betting confidently when I have an edge. I always try to stay disciplined during dry spells and wait for profitable spots to apply pressure.

It's very difficult to maintain that kind of balance. For some days I feel bold, other days I would just be folding. I’ve noticed patience saves me more money than aggression ever did.

For me, patience comes first, aggression comes in spots.

I wait for good hands, good positions, and clear edges instead of forcing action. When those spots come, I play them aggressively and for value.
