A new poker site can have great software and features, but without effective promotions it can be difficult to attract and retain players.

When launching a new poker platform, how much should realistically be invested into promotions, freerolls, leaderboards, tournaments, and player incentives?

Should a new site focus on aggressive promotions early to build a player base, or take a slower approach and grow organically?

What promotion strategies have worked best for poker sites in the past, and what would you consider a reasonable marketing budget for a new poker room?

I’m not much on the budgeting side of things but I do hope people will chime in and let you know some of the things they would like to see us promotions although I think you’re pretty much have a handle on this. You’ve definitely over the years have tried different techniques so I look forward to seeing whatever you have to offer then work from there

Offer a 1K freebuy available to anyone who makes a $100 deposit in the first 30 days. Make the rebuys $20.

Serious players will jump all over this.

I think a promotion like that would rely too heavily on guaranteed deposits. Since many of our players are micro-stakes players, I think it's better to focus on promotions that cater to them, especially while we're just getting started.

They must invest good money in promotions because it's needed to attract new players. So, a new site will need to invest so much in bonuses, freerolls, and leaderboards to gain more players.
