Playing for fun or money?

Honestly, it's more of playing for fun with me now when it comes to poker. I used to put more attention to playing for money but it wasn't working out so well, I decided to now do it for fun. If I win money while at it, that's good.

I have also changed my approach from playing just to gain monetary benefits to play for the fun of it. The pressure that we have on winning may sometime be very tasking.

It's the right way to play because without being worried about money, you will make better decisions. Even if you lose, you wouldn't be pained so much.

If you play with a small percentage of your bankroll, there's less pressure/risk. Everything else is pressure we put on ourselves as players to try and win every game.

The fun elements doubles when you play for money. It is always exciting when there is money involved in it. I am sure a lot of people will agree with me

Taking control of your cash gives you a relaxed mindset. When I play without thinking about the money, I tend to enjoy the activity more. When I play to win money, I control my expectations and decision. It makes it more tensed.

If you make playing for money your priority, if you don't win after playing for a long time, you will start losing interest in playing.

I will still continue to stress that the motive to play for fun must be the foundation choice for all gaming activities. Placing too much emphasis on money can creates substantial strain on you. It will kill the fun in the game.

It happened to me several times for me to sit down and talk to myself. The lesson and advice you give to yourself is always the best and that's how I changed my mindset towards how I play.
