In online poker there's a lot of poker sites that operate without a license, and they're considered unregulated poker sites.
What's your opinion on these sites? Would you still play them?
I'm pretty sure you can look up where poker sites are legistlated. I think Pokerstars has a license with Isle of Man, and a few others. I did research awhile ago when I was looking into online poker licenses myself.I am curious, although I do not put big money on sites, HOW would you know if they are not registered? Is there some clues to look for or do they just come out and announce it?
I never thought of this! Thanks for sharing such a vital information! To check if a site is real, you can look for permits from trusted groups online. I often search for the license inf͏o on the site’s page, often found in footer or about area.
