What do poker dealers make? Obviously tips will vary between small stakes and high rollers. Is this a feasible part time job someone can jump in and out of? What’s the licensing/training necessary?

I never thought that poker dealer can be a side hustle! I believe there ought to be some training and discipline to be ideal poker dealer. In places like Las Vegas, it must be very lucrative side hustle.

Enemies.....poker dealers make enemies

Poker dealers make most of their money from tips. The basic pay they get from the casino is always just minimum hourly wage. But for a city that poker is popular, they make 10 times of that basic wage everyday from tips. They need licensing from a recognized gaming body to deal properly.

Im sure in vegas they probably do pretty good I guess probably depends on all the above factors.

In busy markets like Vegas they can take home some tips, in addition to the minimum pay of $7-$12 an hour. The rate is based on the casinos and game stake. The major factor is licensing and working in high traffic rooms.
