We’ve built habits around tech that would’ve seemed crazy 20 years ago. If one piece of modern tech disappeared overnight, what would cause the biggest disruption?

I would say mobile phones. 20 years ago, we used to have mobile phones, but nothing compared to what we have now. Now, with the mobile phones we have, they are like mini computers in our bags or pockets, and because we have them with us all the time, we can do so much on them. We rely on them too much!

I know that from when I wake in the morning until I sleep at night, I am always needing to use my phone for something, and I would be lost without it.

If they remove smartphone just for one day, that's a chaos.😂 I remembered the day my phone battery died and I wasn't able to use the Google maps. That day I lost my way. We rely too much on small things like GPS, banking apps, even OTP for simple login.

I rely om mobile phone and laptop too much. Actually, I am a work from home professional and I need to use smart phone to connect with clients and laptop to work on. I rely too much on internet.

Many people don't even take time to read long texts nowadays. They just give it to AI to do a summary for them. They tend to trust the AI's judgement of what is important.

I think we rely too much on smartphones and algorithm-driven apps. They handle communication, navigation, memory, entertainment, and even decision-making. They’re incredibly useful, but depending on them for everything can weaken attention, patience, and independent problem-solving in everyday life.

It is the smartphone that majority of people in the world can't live without. Some people have been so dependent on their smartphones such that they can't even stay a stretch of 15 minutes without their smartphones.

Without any debate, it definitely has to be our smartphones. A lot of us literally can't do without it cause use it for almost everything.
