Loose players tend to play a bunch of different hands, including weaker ones. Tight players, on the other hand, are more picky and only play strong starting hands. Finding a balance between the two can be helpful. If you’re new to poker, it’s best to start with a tight play strategy. As you get more experience, you can start using loose play to bluff. It’s vital to change your playing style according to what your rival is doing and what’s going on at the table.

Loose play means that many hands get played at the same time while tight play refers only good hands. For beginners, it's advisable to be tight initially and when they've gained experience start to explore the loose play.

I find that a lot of loose players have aggressive tendencies and play with a lot more hands while tight players limit their hands to good ones. Knowing which type suits the table dynamics and what the opponents are playing will help in adjusting our play style.

Loose players are typically calling stations or bad players, and tight players usually only play strong hands, but often tight players turn out to be profitable players.

Loose play means you are playing a lot of hands, being aggressive, and taking more risks. Tight play is the opposite you are selective about which hands you play and more conservative with your bets.

Loose play means entering many hands. This is not a good strategy in a game of Poker. Tight play means you focus on strong starting hands, which is a good strategy in poker. Tight players rely on discipline and patience, whereas loose players rely more on pressure, reads, and postflop skill.
