What is the very first thing I should do before buying any crypto?

I’ve been scrolling Twitter and everybody was shouting "DYOR" like it's a mantra. I just want to buy small crypto but I am afraid of being scammed. I'm just confused and tired of these complicated steps. What can I do?

DYOR means Do Your Own Research. That means before you buy any coin you should research well on it to make sure that it has potential and it’s not scam. Everyone that is giving financial advice in this regard make sure they use it to avoid misleading others to make mistakes.
