Have you ever joined a poker site but had the feeling you shouldn't be there? What were the likely signs that are the red flags for you not to go any further in using the site to play online? Could it be the website design or anything else worth mentioning?

Let us know why you wouldn't use a particular poker site.

Failing to pay out their players would be the #1 reason, and if the random number generator was proven to be rigged. I would also quit.

Or sites delaying payouts, shady owners. I like to learn about the sites I play on before I try to build up my bankroll.

When I see a poor website design and lack of licensing information, it's a red flag for me. Some other things I look at are slow withdrawals and unresponsive support.

The player experience is what matters to me and the reviews from the users of the site. I'll quit a site if it has high rake rates and limited game variety. When I also see aggressive marketing tactics, it's a turn-off too.

🤣

But delayed payouts or high payout limits (like you can't withdraw until you're at $500 or something) would be a huge turnoff. If you are willing to take the fees, you should be able to withdraw $5 (and pay like 15 cents out of that) if you wanted.
