Mistakes are what cost you winning and make you to lose more money when playing poker. There are many mistakes which have cost me games but one I can't forget easily when I started thinking I'm already stuck. It's not much to lose few more bucks. I ended up losing more than I had planned instead of walking away at the first though.

What's your biggest poker playing mistake?

Playing above my bankroll after stringing togethor a couple losses. I haven't really made that mistake in 2024 ;)

One of the biggest poker mistakes that one could make is chasing loss and getting caught up in a cycle of tilt. When I did that, I ended up losing more than I intended.

One of the major mistakes in poker is playing on tilt or chasing losses, which often leads to ruining a player since this results in making poor decisions and losing quite a lot of money.

Smiling when dealt too good of a hand, sometimes my tell is too obvious lol.

In my early days in poker, I kept on losing so much. I came to realize that the mistake that I always made was to keep focusing on my gameplan. I never knew that in poker that I had to strike a balance between running my gameplan and observing the cues from my opponent. My biggest mistake in poker had always been never observing my opponent as they played. That made me lose so much.

I think my biggest mistake was chasing losses when I was down big one night. I kept moving up stakes thinking I could win it back quickly, but just lost even more. Poor bankroll management and playing emotionally instead of sticking to my limits. Learned that lesson the hard way.
