I don't think the 2004 Detroit Pistons get nearly enough credit for winning their championship. That was essentially an amazing team. They had good defense and balanced on offense. The season that the Pistons won comes to mind as a perfect underdog story, toppling the highly favoured Lakers in the Finals.
