How do you stay healthy when sitting in a casino chair for 12 hours?

I don't play for more than 2 hours and I also don't know anyone who plays for 12 hours. But I can imagine some professional gamblers might play that long. Sitting for that long is unhealthy but if someone does this, they will have to leave their chair frequently and do some body stretching

Do you play longer sessions when you’re on a heater, or do you stick to your usual schedule regardless?

I try to stick to my usual schedule, however, sometimes a heater can tempt me to chase momentum. Try hard to stay disciplined, follow my plan, and judge decisions by quality, not short-term results.

    Is conservative bankroll management overrated?

I don't think it is overrated, but it can feel slow or restrictive depending on your goals. Conservative bankroll management protects you from variance, which is very real in poker. It reduces the chance of going broke and gives you more emotional stability, especially for newer players.

How aggressive should you be when building a bankroll?

I think you should be selectively aggressive, not constantly aggressive. When building a bankroll, the real edge comes from two things, one, a good game selection and two, avoiding unnecessary risk.

Grinding Microstakes vs Taking Shots, Which Is Better?

I believe grinding microstakes is usually the better foundation. I think taking shots is a controlled way to accelerate progress. Grinding gives you volume, experience, and stability. You learn patterns, build discipline, and grow your bankroll without high pressure.

Aggressive vs conservative bankroll management, which is better?

I don't think one is better than the other, it depends on your skill level, risk tolerance, and goals. Conservative bankroll management is safer. You use more buy-ins, move up slowly, and protect yourself from variance. It’s better for beginners or anyone building stability. Aggressive bankroll...

Is bankroll management necessary at micro stakes?

Even though the money feels small, variance is the same as higher stakes, so losing streaks can still happen. Without proper management, you can go broke or be forced to move down before your skill develops.

Can you build a bankroll from freerolls in 2026?

Freerolls give you zero-risk entry into real games, so in theory you can grow from nothing. The challenge is the competition is usually very high variance, with many inexperienced players and huge fields, so consistent wins are rare.

Should Bankroll Rules Be Different for Online vs Live Poker?

I think they should be adjusted because the environments are different. Online poker moves faster, so you see more hands, more variance, and more swings in a shorter time. That often calls for a deeper bankroll to handle fluctuations. Live poker is slower with fewer hands per hour, so variance...

Do bankroll rules kill motivation for micro-stakes grinders?

Strict bankroll rules can make micro-stakes grinding feel slow because progress to higher stakes takes time. That can be frustrating when you’re eager to move up. Most grinders who stick with it find that rules actually make the grind more stable and less stressful once variance hits.

Should winning players ever move down in stakes?

I think winning players should move down in stakes when their bankroll or results no longer support the level they’re playing. It’s not about ego, it’s about protecting long-term success. Even strong players go through downswings or tough game conditions, and dropping stakes helps reduce...

Do Most Players Actually Follow Proper Bankroll Rules?

Most casual players don’t strictly follow proper bankroll rules. They often play above their limits, mix entertainment with strategy, or chase losses. Serious or professional players are more disciplined, treating bankroll management as protection against variance rather than optional advice.

What Are the Early Signs Tell You a Table Is Profitable?

You can usually tell a table is profitable by how the players behave in the first few rounds. If you see a lot of limping, big calling stations, or players chasing weak hands, that’s a good sign. Loose and passive play often means easier money.

When Is Bluffing More Effective: Online Poker or Live Casino Games?

Online, players make faster decisions, rely more on statistics, and often fold marginal hands, which creates more opportunities for well-timed bluffs. However, in a live poker, people tend to call more often, especially recreational players, and emotional attachment to hands is stronger. That...

Did you practice with demo account?

Well, I never used a demon account. I learned by watching people play in home games as well as casino environment. When I played poker first time I played in home environment with someone to guide me by my side.

Online Poker vs. Live Poker: Where Do You Think the Real Edge Is Now?

I think the edge depends on context. Online games feel tougher with stronger, more studied players, while live poker often has softer competition and more emotional mistakes. I’ve found online improves my skill faster, but live games can be more profitable.

What’s the fastest way to get better at poker?

Watch people play, talk about the game with better players and also play a lot. Consistent learning and practicing improve your game.

How Do Some Players Manage To Win Consistently in Low-Stakes Games?

They win because they stay patient and don’t tilt easily. In low stakes, many players make unpredictable or emotional decisions, so consistent players just wait for strong spots and avoid unnecessary risks.

How Do You Adjust Your Poker Strategy When Moving from Online to Live Casino Games?

Well I haven't moved from online to live poker or vice versa, but when I play live, I slow down and play more patiently because the game pace is much lower. I also tighten my starting hand range since fewer hands are played per hour.

How much money should a beginner start with after demo practice?

I started small after demo practice, using only an amount I could afford to lose without stress, it was just about $30. For me, low stakes helped reduce pressure and mistakes. I think it’s more about comfort and discipline than starting with a large bankroll.
