So how do you actually decide which table to sit at when you've got options? Do you look for specific player types or skill levels or is it more about the overall vibe? And here's the tricky part when you're already in a game and it's profitable, how do you know when it's time to walk away? Like do you have a set profit goal and just leave once you hit it Or do you stay longer if the game is really good even if you're already up?

I will only play cash games if it's live poker, and when I go to a casino I have a set goal in my mind. If I don't reach that goal. I wont leave, unless I bust or reach that amount.

I choose tables with weaker, loose players and avoid tough lineups. I leave when the table tightens, strong players replace fish, or I feel tired or unfocused. I also leave table when I think I have lost or won enough.

The table selection is a silent skill a lot of people ignore. And once I notice that the table mood has changed, like everybody suddenly becoming serious, I just dip. That has saved me a lot of stress.
