I have been a fan of playing a soft background music for so long in a poker settings. Complete silence sometimes makes everything feel too serious and that takes the fun away. But there should be a limit though. Some people will play the music so loud that you start wondering whether you're at a poker game or a nightclub.

I like having some quiet background music. It helps create a relaxed atmosphere without distracting from the game. If the music is too loud, though, it becomes harder to concentrate and chat with the other players.

Home games are fun when there is music playing in the background. I do not like loud music, though.
