We must have experienced one or two players who drive us wild with their behavior in poker. At what point does a player become the most irritating person at poker table? What drives your frustration most at the poker table?

Whiners are annoying, especially know it all's that specialize in insulting other players when they lose.

Doing something like not showing up smelling good or trying to be extra distracting.

Having their eyes explode suddenly would slightly bother me..... hehe

I hate sore losers and those who would end up giving excuses each time that they lose. It is not a great experience with playing against such players. So, I work on avoiding them the next time after an encounter.

You took the words out of my mouth. I was going say exactly the same thing but you beat me to it. I hate it when anyone does that while a game is going on.
What if you couldn't help it. LOL

Take forever for their turn.
Have poor hygiene.
Make distasteful comments.

  1. Slow Play: Taking too long to make decisions, which slows down the game and tests everyone's patience.
  2. Excessive Talking: Constant chatter or trying to distract others with unrelated conversation can be very annoying.
  3. Showboating: Overly theatrical displays when winning hands or making big moves can get on other players' nerves.
  4. Angle Shooting: Trying to exploit loopholes in the rules or taking unethical actions to gain an advantage is extremely frustrating.
  5. Food at the Table: Eating messy or smelly food at the table can be distracting and unpleasant for others.
  6. Mobile Distractions: Constantly checking phones or being distracted by gadgets instead of focusing on the game.
Personally, at the poker table, angle shooting and slow play are particularly frustrating for me. Ethical play and maintaining a good pace are key to a pleasant poker experience for everyone.

Nothing annoys me more playing poker online than the invariable idiot at the table who waits until the last second of the timer before taking his action every round. It's probably a tactic to wind others up and get inside a head, and not gonna lie, sometimes it works on me. Very annoying. :ROFLMAO:

One of the most frustrating behaviors a player can exhibit at a poker table is protracting their decision-making process when folding is undoubtedly the best course of action. While it is vital to exercise caution and consider different factors in complex situations, extreme stalling can be irritating to other players.

I didn't know there was a timer in poker. I thought that was only in chess!
