I think my biggest mental leak is believing I’m the best. When I get outplayed or lose consecutive hands, I need to take a breather to reset and recover.

What about you?

That “I’m the best” mindset is a silent killer. I have found myself in that trap before. You win small and your confidence rises, next thing your decisions are driven by ego. Once you stop respecting the opponents, that's where the problem start. Confidence is good, but once ego enters, just know that danger is close.

One of the biggest mental leaks players face is letting recent outcomes affect current decisions. After a bad beat or downswing, it’s easy to chase losses or play emotionally, and that usually causes more damage than the original loss.
